Georgi Kandelaki was born October 5,1972, in Tbilisi, Georgia, to a family of famous painters. He was raised in an artistic atmosphere from his childhood.

After four years of studying, in 1990, Georgi graduated The Art College J. Nicoladze, with a BFA in oil painting. Simultaneously, he attended classes in fresco painting.

In 1990 Geori entered the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied in the department of painting.

As to further his education, in 1992 Georgi entered the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, where he studied painting, drawing, and sculpting.

Now, he is a member of the International Art Foundation, and his artworks can be found in private collections of Georgia, Russia, Germany, Finland, Italy, france, and America.

In the art of Georgi Kandelaki, one is in awe of his exceptional technique, original compositions, and harmony between the traditional ancestry of Georgia and the conceptualization of modern Western Art. One is impressed, how much has been accomplished by such a young artist.
